AIMING TO PROVIDING RELIEF TO EDUCATORS

Keystone Teachers Association Foundation is a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. Specifically, this organization has been formed to provide relief to educators by providing grants to teachers for classroom supplies. Due to the changing economic climate, our public schools continue to experience financial cutbacks at all levels. This program will allow for the support of classroom educators by making it possible for them to get supplies and educational materials that will be utilized with or for their students.

HELPING EDUCATORS BENEFIT FROM NEW METHODS OF TEACHING

The Foundation further aims to provide workshops, seminars and conference type professional development meetings for educators so that they might benefit from new methods to teaching. Local, state and national regulations as well as learning standards surrounding the field of public education are constantly changing. Educators are already short on time and find it difficult to conduct their own research on how to keep up with current standards, in addition to finding new and inventive ways to keep their students engaged. Our Foundation wishes to create and promote professional development opportunities that educators need in order to help their students achieve the ambitious learning goals that are placed on them in today’s ever-changing public school environment.
